My initial demo: [Download] Mick Rippon's final production: [Download] [SDCOMPO Page] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Mick Rippon, Robbie Ferguson Mick contacted me on December 5th, 2007. He was participating in the Sound Devotion Competition #22, where he had to write and produce a Christmas song, but the catch was, it had to have vocals. So Mick sent me the basic structure audio (the synth you hear), and I laid down the drums, percussion, sytrus & strings to fatten it up. I wrote the lyrics ala freestyle and typed them out as I went, and then when I had two verses and a chorus, I recorded a quick demo to send Mick (My initial demo, above). Mick then completed the instrumental and I re-recorded the vocals for him, and the result is Mick's final production.
