Original Demo: [Download] Featuring LaurenB (soulcleansed): [Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson (and Mick Rippon) I originally wrote this (obviously) just as a tribute to Mick Rippon. He loved it, and allowed me to take it to soulcleansed to propose for their new CD (hence the version featuring LaurenB). This version was rejected, but an acoustic remake was included as a hidden track on soulcleansed's 2007 release "No Matter". This is the original demo, with a harder edge.

[Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: John Bass Status: Completed demo Story: I used to work at a donut booth. One night, an ex-pastor/friend came to the booth. He was the kinda Christian who you just can't trust; a back-stabber and back-talker. He made some very rude comments, which as a pastor just were totally off-beat and didn't sit right with me. Yes, he even called me "chunky" (insulting my weight gain at the time). Seeing as how he was a local pastor, it hurt all the more coming from him, and I wrote this song that night to express my feelings.

Original Demo: [Download] Featuring Bekah and LaurenB (soulcleansed): [Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: INCOMPLETE (a couple of verses and a chorus, but no bridge or final production) Story: I was sitting on the transit bus one day, and wrote this song as I looked around silently, observing several different people. I had hoped to have a female vocalist on the chorus and in parts of the song that are "from the female perspective", but was turned down by those I requested. I also had presented it for the 2007 soulcleansed release, but it was turned down by the focus group. I like the message of this song, and may one day finish it.

[Download] Recorded to a beat from www.freerapbeats.com, I wrote and recorded the lyrics to this track for my wife, Bekah. She was at work that night, and when she got home, I played it for her. It later ended up on the soulcleansed CD, Keepin' It Real.
