[Download] A remake of the song I wrote back in 1996 when I was only 17 years old. I re-recorded it because I like the song, but the old recordings are just horrible quality.

[Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: I wrote this over the course of 2 days (the instrumental, melody line, and lyrics) and recorded it at home. Dedicated to my wonderful wife, Bekah (obviously - lol). I tried to let the Scottish-ness show just a little bit in this one. It was an interesting melody to write and work with.

[Download] Written by: Bill Ballantyne Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: A beautiful song written by my good friend, Bill Ballantyne. I wanted to record a demo for him to hear my "impression" of the song. It sounds okay, but I wish I had have finished it.

[Download] Written by: Bekah Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: Hmm... I found this track on one of my hard drives. I don't even remember recording it - LOL. My wife tells me we recorded this one for her uncle Tim's wedding. Maybe that's why I didn't remember it; we might have put it together really quickly and because I had never listened to it since, I forgot all about its existence. Sounds like one of my earlier electronic productions, just before I started implementing dance beats into my tracks.

[Download] Written by: Mark Heimermann, Toby Mckeehan Status: Complete demo Story: A track recorded along to a Karaoke CD for my wedding CD. Musically, you can hear that I was starting to experiment and learn about vocal effects. I recorded the vocals after-hours at the LIFE 100.3 radio studio and had it mixed and mastered at the Powerplant studio (which is no more).

[Download] Written by: Max Hsu Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: Max wrote this track when he was doing the Church of Rhythm thing. It rang really true with me, as I was a messed up kid, suicidal when I was young. Max gave me permission to use the song on soulcleansed's debut CD (Keepin' It Real). While I never really made it (yet?), Church of Rhythm broke up and Max went on to become huge with the next band he founded. You might have heard of them: Superchic[k].

[Download] I wrote this song (obviously) when my girlfriend dumped me. Oooh, childhood love - haha. I recorded the "multitracks" by running two tape recorders back-to-back, over and over again, resulting in a horribly degrated, several generation master. Then, to top it off, the only copy of the song was on a crummy cassette tape, and by the time I had the technology to convert it to digital (2004), the tape had lost some of its magnetism and dropped out a several times. For the record, after I played this song for her, she took me back. For about a week - haha!
