[Download] A remake of the song I wrote back in 1996 when I was only 17 years old. I re-recorded it because I like the song, but the old recordings are just horrible quality.

[Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: I wrote this over the course of 2 days (the instrumental, melody line, and lyrics) and recorded it at home. Dedicated to my wonderful wife, Bekah (obviously - lol). I tried to let the Scottish-ness show just a little bit in this one. It was an interesting melody to write and work with.

[Download] Another one of my favorite tracks from Les Misérables. I also recorded this song in a single take; sung straight through. I had recorded the instrumental a week or two ago as preliminary tracks just to give me something to sing along to, but when I went to record the vocals I thought of the beat, so I added it. Originally it was just going to be a straight orchestral track... but I like to funk things up just a little.

[Download] This is the beautiful song from Les Misérables. I was listening to the soundtrack and I thought I really had to record this song. So I played all the instruments by ear, added a bit of my own flavor, and sung out the vocals. The orchestral parts are very sophisticated (a LOT of work) and by the time I actually got to record the vocals, I was beat. It should be noted that the vocals were recorded in a single take.

My initial demo: [Download] Mick Rippon's final production: [Download] [SDCOMPO Page] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Mick Rippon, Robbie Ferguson Mick contacted me on December 5th, 2007. He was participating in the Sound Devotion Competition #22, where he had to write and produce a Christmas song, but the catch was, it had to have vocals. So Mick sent me the basic structure audio (the synth you hear), and I laid down the drums, percussion, sytrus & strings to fatten it up. I wrote the lyrics ala freestyle and typed them out as I went, and then when I had two verses and a chorus, I recorded a quick demo to send Mick (My initial demo, above). Mick then completed the instrumental and I re-recorded the vocals for him, and the result is Mick's final production.

[Download] Words & Music by Robbie Ferguson. Produced by Robbie Ferguson. Performed by soulcleansed (ft. Robbie Ferguson). I wrote this song in 2004, and it didn't see release until 2007 on the soulcleansed CD, No Matter. It should be obvious... but I wrote this for my wife, Bekah.

Original Demo: [Download] Featuring LaurenB (soulcleansed): [Download] Written by: Robbie Ferguson Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson (and Mick Rippon) I originally wrote this (obviously) just as a tribute to Mick Rippon. He loved it, and allowed me to take it to soulcleansed to propose for their new CD (hence the version featuring LaurenB). This version was rejected, but an acoustic remake was included as a hidden track on soulcleansed's 2007 release "No Matter". This is the original demo, with a harder edge.

[Download] Written by: Bill Ballantyne Instrumental by: Robbie Ferguson Status: Complete demo Story: A beautiful song written by my good friend, Bill Ballantyne. I wanted to record a demo for him to hear my "impression" of the song. It sounds okay, but I wish I had have finished it.
