Christy Burton, Category5 Technology TV After nearly 1 1/2 years of service to the Category5 Technology TV community, Christy Burton has tendered her resignation as the resident News Anchor of the long-running technology show.

Christy is moving on in her broadcast career after having received a job offer from a startup radio station, where she will serve as a news anchor on an all-talk radio station.  She leaves us on good terms, and we wish Christy every success.

Christy will join us for her final show on Tuesday July 13th, 2010.

We will miss her, and hope she'll stop by as often as possible to say hello.

Thank you, Christy, for your selfless dedication to Category5 and its viewers over the past year and a half.  I hope your experience here at Category5 Technology TV has been a good time of fun and learning, and that you leave us feeling appreciated and loved.  It has been a joy and pleasure having you as a part of the show, and we will miss you like crazy.

If you are a Christy fan, please join me in celebrating her time with the show by sending a card or small token to:

Category5 Technology TV
ATTN: Christy "Weather Pants" Burton
P.O. Box 29009
Barrie, Ontario
Canada  L4N 7W7

If you are unable to send a greeting to Christy by mail, please consider donating to the show and we will put the funds towards a parting gift for Christy.  Also, I would appreciate very much your comments below, which I will share with Christy as well.

Again--thank you, Christy.  Visit often!  And may the weather always be glorious, wherever you are.

1. So Long Christy
As we hit 100 Degrees F in Denver, CO, USA today I wish all the best. It has been fun watching you upset Robbie every week with the weather. Good Luck with whatever is next.

2. Truely a sad day for Cat5
Well I'm shocked to hear of this news... So I have decided the best way I can assist Christy in her unique fondness of world wide weather is to dedicate a page to for her...

Has it been a year and a half already? I will hate to see you leave. I feel like I'm losing a friend. I'm glad that God has blessed you with a good position that you want. I hope you will keep us in mind as you go on your new career. Love and take care.
