We are holding auditions for Category5 TV this fall.

We are looking for up to four individuals to volunteer their time to Category5 TV as on-air personalities who posses the following:

• Fun, go-get 'em attitude.
• A wish to help others.
• A desire to be a part of a fun and generous community.

Eligible persons must:

• Be able to read and speak English.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Live locally to Barrie, Ontario.
• Have ability to travel to the studio Tuesday nights when required.
• Fulfil a weekly or bi-weekly shift of 6:15pm-8:15pm.
  

The positions we are looking to fill will be on-air.  While the positions are voluntary, the following benefits are evident in these positions:

• Improve social skills.
• Improve confidence levels when dealing with stressful situations.
• An excellent addition to your resumé.
• Learn about fun and new technologies.
• Receive occasional perks from show sponsors.
  

No technical knowledge is required for the positions we are looking to fill.  Very basic computer operation (eg. how to click a mouse) is a benefit, but not required.

All training will be provided by myself.  No education or real-world experience is required.

We hope to fill the position in or around September, 2010.  However, we are willing to wait if necessary for that "right" individual.

Please Note:  If you do not qualify for the current position openings on the grounds of geographic location, I would still love to hear from you to discuss other ways you could possibly get involved in the show.  We can often conduct special features through Skype Video, for example.  While unrelated to the current openings, this could be an option for the right individual(s).
